Even in his forties, the Portugal captain continues to add to a legacy that has seen him dominate the sport for more than two decades.
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner remains the all-time leading scorer in men’s international football and holds numerous UEFA Champions League and UEFA European Championship records.
At club level, Ronaldo is Real Madrid’s all-time leading scorer and became the first player to score at least 50 league goals in England’s Premier League, Spain’s La Liga, Italy’s Serie A and Saudi Arabia’s Pro League.
