Former First Lady Aisha Buhari is attending the first anniversary remembrance of her husband, former President Muhammadu Buhari, in Abuja on Monday.
Buhari, who served as Nigeria’s President from 2015 to 2023, died on July 13, 2025, in London at the age of 82 after a prolonged illness. He was buried in his hometown of Daura, Katsina State, in accordance with Islamic rites.
