Tudun Biri drone strikes: Two personnel to face military court martial

The Defence Headquarters (DHQ) says two personnel will face military court martial for their actions in the drone strikes on Tudun Biri community in Kaduna State that killed scores of innocent citizens.

The Director of Defence Information (DDI), Major General Edward Buba, who made the disclosure during a media briefing on Thursday, said that the Defence Headquarters has formally admitted errors in the drone strikes on Tudun Biri community in Kaduna State.

Speaking on Thursday, he explained that investigations have been concluded and the strikes considered a mistaken identity.

It was reported that the drone strikes took place on December 3, 2023, killing several innocent citizens in Tudun Biri village of Igabi local government area of Kaduna State.

The DHQ spokesman assured, “Those involved were going to face military court martial.”

He did not provide further details about the displinary measure but said the two personnel will face military court martial for their actions.
