MARTIN LAWRENCE STATES THAT WILL SMITH WILL BE BACK FOR “BAD BOYS 4”

Martin Lawrence has confirmed that Will Smith will feature in the fourth installment of “Bad Boys.”

After Will Smith’s infamous slap of Chris Rock at the Oscars, there have been numerous claims that the actor’s numerous projects have been put on hold.

As Smith is certain to lose a lot of money if he doesn’t fulfill any of these projects, bad press has suddenly become the norm for him.

One of them is the eagerly anticipated “Bad Boys 4” film with Martin Lawrence as a co-star.

Besides the production ceasing, there really wasn’t much to say about the plans for this sequel.

Lawrence, however, publicly denied any speculations that the movie was not going to be made.

He also made a suggestion that there might be other franchise films in the future. This suggests that Will Smith will return to the fourth film.

Martin Lawrence gave an interview to Ebony Magazine, but he avoided addressing the slap specifically and instead spoke about his career. When the reporter questioned him about how the slap would impact the film, Martin replied, “We got one more at least,” remarked Lawrence in response to the rumours.

He continued by discussing how the original “Bad Boys” movie affected his and Smith’s careers, “It was big. For us to come together and prove that we can deliver, and we can pull people into the box office-that two Black stars, two sitcom stars, could make money at the box office was huge. I didn’t go to college, so I felt TV was my college years. I felt with movies, I had graduated; it was just different.”

Despite the fact that Smith has yet to make any sort of public declaration regarding the slap, Lawrence’s discussion of this suggests that we will most likely hear from him shortly.

These interviews are regularly planned, especially when the stars involved discuss significant events like the slap.

For the time being, this “Bad Boys 4” confirmation serves as another indicator that Will Smith is simply taking a brief sabbatical while he collects his thoughts and plans the best strategy for returning to the spotlight.

While that is going on, everyone is still waiting for him to show there and possibly make his first public remark about what he did at the Oscars.
