President Muhammadu Buhari, alongside Emir of Daura Farouk Umar Farouk and his kinsmen on Tuesday in Daura, Katsina observed the Moslem Eid-El- Kabir prayers.
The prayers took place at the Kofar Arewa ground and were led by the Chief Imam of the town, Alhaji Safiyanu Yusuf.
Buhari, who was dressed in a Skye blue flowing robe( Babnriga), arrived the ground at 10 am in a black limousine.
The prayer started immediately thereafter.
Emir Faruq, who had earlier arrived the prayer ground, offered prayers for the President and Nigeria.
The monarch enjoined Daura residents to always remember the President in their prayers.
The President and the Emir later exchanged kolanuts and slaughtered rams in accordance with the dictates of the Sallah prayers.
