GOV OKOROCHA’s SON-IN-LAW, UCHE NWOSU SECURES DPP GUBER TICKET, HIJACKS PARTY STRUCTURE.

Former Chief of Staff and son-in-law to Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State, Chief Uche Nwosu has emerged the governorship flagbearer of the Democratic People’s Party (DPP), Vanguard Newspaper can authoritatively reports.

According to a factional Chairman of DPP in Imo State, Chief Anslem Igbojuonu, the former Chief of Staff was selected after he fulfilled all conditions presented to him.

He said that his emergence became necessary after he met with the national Chairman of the party in Abuja weekend, in company of the Director General of his Campaign Organization, Hon Chidi Ibeh.

Chief Igbojuonu also disclosed that part of his demands was for the party at the national level to dissolve the leadership of the party in the state to pave way for him and his structure to take over.

The factional Chairman while expressing bitterness, said that after all his efforts to build the party in the state, Chief Nwosu in his desperation to cling the number one position had decided to push them away and vowed never to allow them.

He revealed that in order not to allow people to be aware of his defection to DPP, he directed the party to use one, Clifford Eze said to be his cousin to hold the ticket on his behalf before December substitution deadline meanwhile some of the Governor’s aides have picked the tickets for various positions like the Former Principal Secretary to the Governor Mr Paschal Obi for House of Representative, Mr Uju Kingsley Chima for house of Representative and Etc.
